Non-CDL Delivery Driver Job Listing in Roswell, Georgia
Job Opening: Non-CDL Delivery Driver – Field Supplies (Georgia)
About Levinson Athletics
We are a small, family-owned company dedicated to servicing baseball and softball programs throughout the state of Georgia. We provide and deliver premium field conditioners, clay, and essential athletic supplies. We take enormous pride in supporting local communities and being a vital part of the success of Georgia Athletics.
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Non-CDL Delivery Driver to transport our sports field supplies to coaches, Athletic Directors (A.D.s), and grounds crews. In this salaried, full-time role (estimated 40 hours/week), you will serve as the trusted "go-to" resource for our customers' field maintenance needs. While the workload fluctuates with the seasonality of sports, this position offers stable, salaried compensation and the major perk of being home every night.
Why You Will Love This Role
- Local & Regional Travel: Spend 80-90% of your time on the open road traveling across Georgia and neighboring states, rather than sitting behind a desk.
- Daily Impact: Be a "hero" to local schools and athletic programs by delivering the critical supplies they need to keep their fields game-ready.
- Home Daily: Enjoy the freedom of a route delivery job while sleeping in your own bed every night.
- Morning Schedule: A perfect fit for early risers who like to get their day started and finished early.
- Dynamic Workdays: Experience high variety in your day-to-day routes and customer interactions.
- Growth Potential: Opportunities to learn new skills, take on more responsibility, and earn additional income.
- Team Environment: Thrive in a supportive, teamwork-oriented culture where everyone pitches in.
- Drive: You have a hustle mentality and enjoy opportunities to take on more and maximize your earnings.
Requirements for Success
- Driving Experience: Highly confident driving a ¾-ton (or greater) pickup truck and comfortable maneuvering a 16-foot trailer.
- Equipment Operation: Willingness and ability to safely operate a forklift and a pallet jack.
- Physical Fitness: This is a physically demanding role; you must be able to repeatedly lift bags weighing 50+ lbs and manually push a 1-ton pallet using a pallet jack.
- Outdoor Resilience: Capable of working and delivering in varying weather conditions and extreme seasonal temperatures.
- Customer Service Skills: You enjoy interacting with people, building relationships with coaches and facility managers, and proactively inquiring about their field supply needs.
- Customer-First Mindset: You genuinely care about the needs of coaches, schools, and sports facility managers.
- Adaptability: Willing to step outside your formal job description to support the team's overall success.
